Personal and immediate
Effects happen close enough to follow, sometimes in a guest’s own hands.
Close-up magic brings short, complete performances to small groups, using cards, coins and everyday objects. Guests can keep mingling instead of stopping to watch a stage. It works well during wedding arrivals, corporate cocktails, private parties and suitable gaps between dinner courses.

The short distance lets the magician respond to each group and give guests a moment they take part in, rather than simply watch.

The magician moves between suitable groups without asking everyone to take a seat.
A shared experience gives guests who have just met something to talk about.

The aim is not to visit tables mechanically. The magician observes whether guests are eating, talking, taking photographs or handling something important before choosing the right moment to approach.
A floor plan, table count, guest count and schedule help us estimate the practical coverage. Hotels, restaurants, brand stores and private venues in Macau each have different noise levels and movement patterns. If everyone needs to see the same effect at once, a stage show may be a better fit.
Close-up magic fits events that need to keep conversation and movement flowing.

Magic Party has served government departments, integrated resort enterprises, non-profit organisations, schools and businesses in Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Close-up magic is performed beside small groups of guests using cards, coins or everyday objects. It can be arranged as roaming entertainment, table-side magic or a small, fixed performance area.
Coverage depends on the size of each group, the performance window and the venue layout, rather than guest count alone. For a large reception, we plan suitable areas and timing instead of assuming everyone can be reached in a short session.
Roaming close-up magic usually does not need a stage. A noisy venue, a larger group or a fixed demonstration may require sound support or a designated performance position.
Yes, subject to the schedule, table space and guest activity. The magician times each approach around food service and conversation rather than interrupting guests when it is inconvenient.
Yes. A common arrangement is close-up magic during arrival or cocktails followed by a stage segment during the dinner programme. Both windows should be agreed with the organiser.
English, Cantonese, Mandarin or bilingual interaction can be arranged. Let us know the main guest languages when you enquire.
